Upgrade - How often should I?

You can upgrade as little or as often as you like...but...if you are using Reckon Accounts® Payroll and the Tax Tables change, you will need to purchase an upgrade to get the latest tax tables.  You can nearly expect tax tables or ATO compliant requirements to change each year at the begining of the new financial year,  meaning that you need to upgrade every year.  If you are running Reckon Accounts® Payroll or Payroll Premier save yourself some anguish and get an annual subscription.

If you aren't running payroll, you can be a little more picky and upgrade when new features appeal to you.  However, if you get too far behind, it can be difficult to upgrade files or may require multiple upgrade steps.   If your version of Reckon Accounts or QuickBooks® is more than 3 years old, perhaps its time to consider an upgrade you are getting to far behind.
